Kwiz Kwon born Taquawn Daniels is an American rap artist originating from Springfield, Massachusetts. From early beginnings a career in art was eminent. having first been an aspiring painter turn visual artist Taquawn has pursed art and pop media from a young age. Spotlighted for his talent and achievement in visual creation Taquawn 'Kwiz' has received formal accolades from Boston Globe and scholastic art society to name a few. His career in music would not begin until the latter half of his senior high school year. Following his 2009 graduation from Springfield Central High Taquawn would go on to self produce his 1st body of music called 'Project K' (2009). The EP was eventually over looked as a premature piece due to low production quality and unprofessional presentation. Despite his low level of success Kwiz was noted for having lyrical agility and superior word play. One year later following an arrest acquisition and dismissal from Bridgewater State University Kwiz returned to rap debuting his 2010 self published EP 'Quizzically'. Again after having a moderately low level of success Kwiz returned to the drawing board, choosing to further hone his skills before releasing another project. Years would go by before the young artist re-emerged as a competent contender. Now in 2014 kwiz now officially 'Kwiz Kwon' has resurfaced with a new attitude and appearance. The now 23 year old artist is back with his 3rd coming EP and album entitled 'Mass Made' named after the art conglomerate which he began while attending community college. Being the persistent individual he is, Taquawn has taken a new approach, becoming both a Chief executive officer and solo founding member to a new brand and company (Mass Made Limited). Kwiz used his past experiences from being a freelance photographer and transformed his outlook to become a visual music director and editor. Kwiz, having been self taught has been known to produce everything from photography and videography to visual art as well as music and poetry. He has altered and ushered in a new phase to the emerging DYS (Do It Youreslf) music culture. Having completely self funded his own career while being a Postal letter carrier Taquawn 'Kwiz' has completely reimaged the boundaries of an independent artist. Even gone as far as to even hand build a high end performance Computer capable of carrying out his many artistic endeavors.
